Diana Harker hungry for a National Event win at Topeka

Topeka, KS. – After an impressive win at the Division 5 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series (LODRS) event last weekend, 25 year old Top Alcohol Dragster driver, Diana Harker is looking to give her new ‘Wally’ a companion at this weekends NHRA O’Reilly Auto Parts Summer Nationals held at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS.

Diana’s recent win gave the Lend America, Randy Meyer Racing team their first win of the season including their first top qualifying position in only their second Division event outing and Diana also made her personal best elapse time a 5.30 seconds pass. Diana is driving for multiple times Division 5 LORDS Champion, Randy Meyer, who has many titles to his credit including the 2003 NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster World Championship with driver Alan Bradshaw.

This is a home track race for the Randy Meyer Racing team, with this advantage in their favor fans can expect to see Diana keep her performance record on a roll. Diana earned her first semi-final finish at the National event level during the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA SoutherNationals. Diana has been displaying more than impressive reaction times and consistent driving which Diana credits to her teacher and mentor, Randy Meyer.

Randy is focused on tuning the race car to win and I apply Randy’s coaching to improve my driving and I feel I am making leaps. Qualifying for Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA O’Reilly Auto Parts Summer Nationals at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS begins this Friday at 3.00pm & 5.30pm and on Saturday at 10.15am & 3.00pm. Eliminations for all classes begin Sunday at 11am.
