Auto Italia will present the Autodelta Brera J5 3.2 C and Spider J6 3.2 C at their prestigious Auto Italia Concours at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire, on Sunday (1 June 2008).

Autodelta’s two very exclusive, bespoke high-performance models, which are based on Alfa Romeo’s glorious Brera and Spider, will be shown on the Auto Italia stand during the spectacular annual summer event, which has grown up to take its position as the UK’s leading automotive ‘Concours d’Elegance’, with a glittering array of quite simply outstanding cars always taking part.

A special highlight of Auto Italia’s stand on Sunday, alongside the two Autodelta models, will be a stunning Ferrari 268 SP; the first ever V8-engined Ferrari, which in the 1960s competed on evocative events such as the Targa Florio, where it was driven by legends including Lorenzo Bandini. This amazing example will get an airing at Stanford Hall following a three-year stint in the official ‘Galleria Ferrari’ in Maranello.

The new Spider J6 3.2 C is Autodelta’s no-compromise interpretation of the stunning Alfa Spider, which collected the prestigious accolade of ‘Cabrio of the Year’ upon its launch at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Launched at Autosport International in January, the Spider J6 3.2 C is Autodelta’s second bespoke model to be based on the exciting ‘new generation’ of Alfa Romeo models, and its market arrival follows the very successful launch of the Autodelta Brera J5 3.2 C in 2006. The actual version that will be at Stanford Hall this weekend is now for sale at Autodelta’s official North of England Agent, Mangoletsi (www.mangoletsi.com), and this particular stunning red example graced the front cover of last month’s edition of Auto Italia magazine (issue #144).

Also present amongst the many Italian cars which will stream into the event on Sunday will be two examples of another exclusive bespoke sports car from our range, the Autodelta GT 3.7 Evo and the GT 3.7 Super. With chassis, braking, electronic and aerodynamic improvements, to go with its 405 bhp power and 507 Nm torque, the GT 3.7 Super has proved to be strongly in demand, and the first conversion carried out and used for the model’s May 2007 launch, will be at the show.

Bearing in mind too that the London based design and tuning house built its two decade old reputation on squeezing the maximum power out of the legendary ‘Arese V6’, one of the two examples at Stamford Hall will be somewhat poignant as we have just completed a full 3.7 Evo conversion on the very last ‘Arese V6’ engined car to be registered in this country; with a just handful of miles on the clock, this car will be present on Sunday.
