Record-Breaking Crowd Honors Harley-Davidson and Motorola During M2W(R)-The Marketing To Women Conference

HARTFORD, Conn., May 28 -- Brand executives filled the Chicago Cultural Center on May 8, 2008-9, 2008, for the 4th Annual M2W(R)-The Marketing To Women Conference -- making it the highest attended event in the conference's history. "We were honored to be the Exclusive Presenting Sponsor of this year's M2W(R) Conference," said Glam Media chairman and CEO Samir Arora. "It was wonderful to connect with so many bright minds and great to see the turnout of influential people in the industry who are realizing the importance and strength of marketing to women."

During this year's conference, Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Motorola were presented with the 1st Annual M2W(R) "Full Circle Award," an award created to honor those brands that attended M2W(R) in the past and successfully implemented what they learned from the conference. Both Leslie Prevish, women's outreach manager for Harley-Davidson and Severine Zaslavski, director-women's marketing for Motorola were on hand to accept their awards and to participate in Marti Barletta's change management panel to discuss their marketing to women challenges and how they moved their marketing to women efforts forward.

"M2W(R) was a great opportunity to collaborate with global experts in the area of marketing to women and discuss trends, case studies, and strategies to continually win among this important segment. It showed great understanding of the market that M2W(R) was inclusive and included a discussion about ethnic women and what it uniquely takes to win with her," said Najoh Tita-Reid, associate marketing director, multicultural marketing for Proctor & Gamble, who presented the strategy behind P&G's "My Black Is Beautiful" campaign.

In addition to Tita-Reid's presentation, highlights included how to get into the conversation of women and become a passion brand, learning how to embrace the global power of the purse and understanding how to best reach the women online.
