BRABUS Debuts New Tuning Package For The Updated Mercedes-Benz SLK Models

Just in time to coincide with the market launch of the new-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class, BRABUS has introduced on www.emercedesbenz.com a number of new tuning products aimed at making the already dynamic model even more sporty and charismatic.

Take, for example, the SLK55 AMG. Never a group content with factory output, BRABUS engineers tuned the SLK55's standard 5.5-Liter 265 kW/ 360 hp V8, boosting output to an impressive 327 kW/445 hp (438 hp SAE net). The result? A 0-62 mph time of just 4.3 seconds, and a top speed of 191 mph.

If, on the other hand, improving the SLK's countenance is more your desire, you too have a wealth of options aimed at helping you accomplishing this specific purpose. A new front spoiler, rocker panels, rear apron, headlamp inserts, a stainless steel exhaust system and a number of interior appointments are just some of the enhanced components BRABUS offers for the new SLK-Class.

And last but not least, there's the handling improvements. Want a lower ride height and firmer damper setup? Opt for the BRABUS sport suspension system. Want better braking?
