Subaru of America Donates Vehicle to ESRP on Today Show

CHERRY HILL, N.J., April 15 -- Subaru of America, Inc. today donated a 2008 Subaru Tribeca Limited to the Eldora Special Recreation Program (ESRP). Al Roker of the Today Show was on hand to accept the donation through his Today Show 'Lend a Hand' program.

Tim Mahoney, senior vice president of Subaru of America said, "We are delighted to support this worthy cause in one of our strongest markets. Many Subaru owners are avid skiers and the goals of this charity are a good fit for us."

ESRP serves the disabled population with instructional programs in adaptive Snowboard, Alpine and Nordic skiing, including downhill Sit-Ski, Mono-Ski and Pull cross country skiing.

Representatives from Subaru of America were on hand to deliver the Tribeca to the organization.

Eldora Special Recreation Program is a program offering unique skiing and winter sports recreation opportunities for physically and mentally challenged individuals. Founded in 1975 as an independent non-profit, 501(C)(3) organization, it operates from its own modular facilities at the Eldora Mountain Resort. Its mission is to provide integrated recreational opportunities for people with disabilities that will foster independence through the acquisition of lifetime skills.
