Ennis, TX – For retired Trucking Mogul, Steve Harker, drag racing full time in the USA has become more than a dream for the Australian veteran as he prepares to battle his championship rights at this weekends LODRS Division Four event held at the Texas Motorplex April 11-13.

The defending event winner, Harker and 2007 Wrench of the Year winner, wife Jenelle are set to make a charge at this weekends event with hopes of adding another ‘Wally’ to their trophy collection. Having already made two impressive national event semi-final finishes at the AC Delco GatorNationals and the O’Reilly Spring Nationals along with a runner-up finish at the Division Four event held at No Problem Raceway earlier this year, Harker has proven the Monte Carlo’s consistency and strength on the track and is eager for the teams first win of the season.

After spending the best part of the week Bass fishing in Texas, Harker and wife Jenelle are relaxed and ready to focus on preparing the team’s Funny Car for competition in what is set to be a great weekend of racing.

“We are all looking forward to getting back out on the track at this weekends event, we’ve rested up and gained some much needed momentum so hopefully we can continue to see the OMS Graphics, Southern Safety Supply and Lucas Oil Funny Car performing at its best and maybe even make another great final finish.” said Harker

With three events already under their belts, the Harker Motorsport Team is ready to challenge the Top Alcohol Funny Car Class this weekend in hopes to regain their event title win.
