Harker & Meyer Living Big in Texas

Ennis, TX – When young rookie driver, Diana Harker signed with Championship winning team owner, Randy Meyer, it was to join a professional competitive team for the ’08 Season and having already competed at two national events with great results, the Harker-Meyer Team are certainly living up to their expectations going into this weekend’s LODRS Division Four event held at the Texas Motorplex April 11-13.

The team have spent the best part of the week servicing the race car and outfitting their new race trailer and are looking forward to pulling into the Texas Motorplex to make a great showing for their sponsors Lend America, Aeromotive, Hedman Hedders, Taylor Cables, Solder Seal Gunk, Aeroquip, ARP, The Meyer Truck Centre and the

Holly wood’s Dream Foundation.

This will be the team’s first Division race event for the season and team owner/crew chief Randy Meyer is looking to pick up from the Houston national event where Harker drove the team’s A/Fuel Dragster to their best ever qualifying position and first ever national event round victory giving the Harker-Meyer team much needed momentum.

“The last time we campaigned at a division race was last year at the Division Two event held at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds GA. We made a successful semi-final debut which was a great moral booster for our team so I am really looking forward to seeing where we can take the Lend America Dragster this season. Randy has a good handle on the tune-up now, so hopefully we can make a solid run at this year’s Division Championship.” Said Harker

Harker will be joined by her father, Steve in the Top Alcohol Funny Car class as both drivers work to make a great showing at this weekends event and who knows maybe we might see a first in family final round double ups.
