Auto and Steel Experts to Discuss Latest Automotive Steel Trends and Technologies at the 7th annual Great Designs in Steel Event on April 9
WHAT: Great Designs in Steel - initiated by the American Iron
and Steel Institute's (AISI) Automotive Applications
Committee - is the premier forum for the latest trends and
applications in automotive steel technologies. During this
free program with nearly 35 technical presentations,
automotive engineers and steel industry experts will
discuss how key issues, such as recyclability, fuel
economy, light-weighting and safety are being addressed in
the latest steel technologies.
WHEN: Wednesday, April 9 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
-- Opening remarks at 8 a.m.
-- Track sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 12:30
p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
-- Lunch with speaker / award presentation at 11:15 a.m.
To enable journalists to write, interview and relax
between sessions, AISI will host a staffed, well-appointed
media center.
