Jon Wood drove the no. 21 Ford F-150 Wood Brothers, Barnhill Group race truck to a solid 10th place finish Friday night. The 21 truck took the green flag of the American Commercial Lines 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 16th position. Throughout the evening, Jon fought a loose race truck. The 21 climbed as high as 8th and was as low as 22nd. The team made several adjustments trying to correct the loose condition. On lap 110 weather became a factor as rain brought out the caution flag. After running a few more laps the rain forced NASCAR to bring out the caution again that led to a red flag. The race restarted after a 15 minute rain delay and raced under the green flag for only the last two laps. Jon passed Rick Crawford in turn 4 coming to the checkered flag and finished the race as the top running Ford in 10th position.

The Wood Brothers Racing team left Atlanta confident in their efforts but knowing there is a lot of work to be done. The team will head to Martinsville Speedway this week for testing in preparation for the series' next race - the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, March 29th.
