Braun on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
“Atlanta is a very fast track. Fortunately I got to test there earlier in the season, and we made a lot of laps so I kind of know what to expect a little bit. We are going to take the same truck that we raced in California since it got out of there in one piece. We know it is a strong truck and we’ll make a few little improvements on it to make it run even better at Atlanta. Everybody’s effort paid off with a top-10 finish at California, and we hope to carry that momentum over to Atlanta.”
Crew Chief Mike Beam on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway: “Colin did a great job at California a few weeks ago because he adapts to new tracks so quickly. We were able to test at Atlanta for two days in January, so that will speed up his learning curve even more. Since he’s already familiar with the track, that will help us so we can spend more time working on our set-up for the race.”
