LEFFLER ON LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

Text Box: Meet the Great Clips Team Driver: Jason Leffler Crew Chief: Stewart Cooper Car Chief: Mike McCoige Mechanics: Robbie Allison/ Cory Shea Shock Specialist: Pete Bower Tire Specialist: Tab Smith Transport Driver: Trucker Matt“Las Vegas Motor Speedway is great racetrack with some unique characteristics. It's got a nice wide racing surface that allows you to run two and three wide. The transitions from the corner to the straight-aways and then the straight-aways to the corners are really nice. In all, it’s just a really fun place to race – probably as fun for the drivers as it is for the fans.

‘After a great test here at Las Vegas a few weeks ago, I feel really good coming back knowing we will be able to be competitive and hopefully contend for a win. These intermediate tracks were not our strong suit last season but I think we have shown a lot of improvement with a good test here under our belt and a good run last weekend at California I think we will be in good shape.”

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION

The No. 38 Great Clips team will compete with chassis #35 in this weekend’s Sam’s Town 300. This is the same chassis Leffler raced last season at Kansas (21st), Charlotte (19th), Texas (12th) and Homestead (14th).
