In 19 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, Clanton has accumulated five top-10 finishes. His average starting position is 19.79, and his average finish is 21.84.

JOEY CLANTON ON CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY. . . “I’ve never raced at California Speedway. We’re going to be looking to gain on the run we had in the early going last week at Daytona. I’m going to try not to make the same mistake I made there, we need to bring our Zaxby’s F-150 home in one piece. The guys are still excited about what we accomplished in Daytona before we wrecked, and we’re going to be looking to get regrouped and reorganized for going forward from here.”

CHAD NORRIS ON CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY. . . “We’re bringing the same truck that we tested at Atlanta last month. We’ll have a similar setup under it, so we know we’ve got something that Joey will be comfortable with. I think we’re in the same boat as the other Roush Fenway trucks, we’re going to be looking to rebound from our tough Daytona finish and get things back on track.”
