Toyo Tire to Raise Prices by Up to 60 Pct in N. America

Osaka, Feb 7, 2008 (Jiji Press) - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. said it will raise the prices of automotive tires for the North American market by up to 60 pct on March 1 due to rising raw materials and fuel prices.

The Osaka-based company will increase the prices of tires for passenger cars, light trucks, larger trucks and buses that are sold through a sales subsidiary in North America.
