Azentek Wins "Best of CES" Award for Hottest Car Tech & GPS Product for 2008!

Azentek, today announced it won a "Best of CES" award for its Atlas CPC-1200, the first available "all in one" fully integrated in-car multimedia PC, in Car Tech & GPS. Produced and judged by editors from CNET (www.cnet.com), the winners of the "Best of CES" awards were announced Wednesday, January 9 at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Selected by CNET's unbiased, expert editors, winners are recognized as the hottest products in their respective technology categories for their unmatched innovation and creativity, and their ability to excite consumers and help them explore a world gone digital. CNET's editors received and reviewed hundreds of entries, as well as scoured the CES show floor for products to consider for the prestigious award.

The ten categories include digital photo and video; car tech and GPS; cell phones and smart phones; computers and hardware; emerging technologies; gaming; home audio; home video; MP3 and portable video players; and televisions. A video of the winners and finalists showcasing their technologies can be found at http://www.cnet.com/.

At an MSRP of $2,799, the Atlas CPC-1200 is built on an Intel(tm) Core Duo processor and runs the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system featuring a very long list of computing and entertainment capabilities including voice recognition, CANbus integration, Bluetooth, AM/FM/Satellite Radio, HD Radio, CDRW/DVD/MP3/WMA, GPS navigation, built-in WIFI, and much more!

"We built the very first 'all-in-one' full functioning PC ever created for the automotive market and showed it as a concept product at CES last year. With the intention of only releasing a 100% finished and flawless product, we never actually took it to market." said Johnny Cooper, Azentek's President & CEO. "After a full year of additional development, taking ideas and suggestions directly from our customers, we are back this year with the Atlas CPC-1200 that will begin shipping in early April. Furthermore, establishing the fact that we have the best engineering in mobile electronics today, we have also created a single-din 'all-in-one' version called the Calypso CPC-1100 that is even more unlike anything the industry has ever seen."

"Chosen from hundreds of products at CES, Azentek's Atlas demonstrates the creativity, excellence and vision that sets the standard in mobile electronics," said Jai Singh, editor-in-chief of CNET and senior vice president for Content Development. "The 'Best of CES' Awards brings together the top consumer electronics that will impact the coming year for consumer electronics."
