The 2007 KIA Spectra SX is a great drive, great mileage at a great price! Considered to be one of the fastest growing automobile manufacturers in the world, the Korean-built KIA is increasing their consumer fan base. The Spectra SX is a sporty, sleek, fun car to drive; when you add the car’s dependability, functionality and comfortable interior for the driver and passengers, you have made a sound decision that you will enjoy for years to come!

Performance Efficiency
The KIA Spectra has three models – the base LX, EX and the sporty SX. The Spectra, one of the best valued compacts manufactured, has 138-horsepower 2.0 liter four-cylinder. The car comes in the standard five-speed manual transmission, but offers a four-speed automatic as an option. The fuel efficiency is another benefit providing impressive mpg with a fuel range of 27 city and 33 highway using regular unleaded.

Safety
Automobile manufacturers have been placing a higher priority on safety in recent years. Before purchasing any vehicle, it should always be researched how the vehicle performs in testing conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). KIA has placed a high priority on achieving safety’s highest rating, the 5-Star Frontal Crash Safety Rating from the NHTSA, as an added measure to insure consumer confidence. This rating sends the message to consumers that KIA Spectra has successfully passed a battery of crash testing and is considered by NHTSA as being safe for you and your loved ones if an accident should occur.

Spectra’s 4-wheel disc brakes and anti-lock brakes are contributing factors toward insuring this safety rating. KIA knows what provides a sense of safety to their female drivers and includes other standard features, such as front-impact, side-impact and overhead airbags, plus seatbelt pretensioners that tighten and protect driver and passengers during a collision.

The Spectra also provides standard features to minimize theft. With the “remote keyless entry”, you can unlock the car as you are approaching, which is a feature women appreciate. In addition, KIA has included a panic alarm and content theft-deterrent alarm system. As added safety for the young ones sitting in the back seat, there are rear child safety door locks.

Comfort
The comfort and convenience of the KIA Spectra SX really surprised me. The interior capacity is very comfortable for five passengers, including the driver. Front bucket seats are standard features, along with sunglasses holder, cup holders, and extra storage pockets to place your personal items. Optionally you can have the benefits of feeling the sun and breeze through the powered sunroof, and at the same time enjoy entertainment via the AM/FM/6-Disc CD Changer/MP3.

The trunk space was the biggest surprise at 12.2 cubic feet. It is very roomy and can easily carry luggage for travelling or golf clubs for weekend fun.

Warranty
Women need to place more focus on the warranty and completely understand what the manufacturer’s warranty covers, how long it lasts, and pricing, timing and options for extended warranties. KIA’s manufacturer’s warranty includes a 5 Year/60,000 miles bumper-to-bumper.
