SPECIAL EVENT (INDIANAPOLIS) - IMS PRESIDENT CHITWOOD TO SPEAK NOV. 28 AT INDUSTRY FORUM

Indianapolis Motor Speedway President and Chief Operating Officer Joie Chitwood will speak about the Speedway’s upcoming Centennial Era celebration during the eighth annual Motorsports Marketing Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 28 in New York.

The conference features presentations and forums with top executives from all areas of the motorsports industry, including race teams, sponsors, sanctioning bodies, tracks and broadcasting partners. Among other executives scheduled to speak Nov. 27-28 at the InterContinental Barclay New York are NASCAR President Mike Helton, NHRA President Tom Compton and Indy Racing League President, Commercial Division Terry Angstadt.

Chitwood will discuss the Speedway’s plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the historic facility in 2009, the 100th anniversary of the first Indianapolis 500 in 2011 and the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 in 2016.
