China October SUV sales up 74.9 percent

Shanghai. November 9 (Gasgoo.com) - China sales of SUV saw an year-on-year increase of 74.9 percent in October to 34,799, up 15.9 percent from the previous month, according to the Information Center of China's National Association of Passengers Vehicle Manufacturers.

Sales statistics also indicate SUV sales for the first ten months of the year were 273,584 units, 48.7 percent higher than the same time last year.

Meanwhile, China's total sales of passenger vehicles reached 490,474 units in October and 4.86 million units in the first ten months, up 21.3 precent and 22.10 percent respectively from one year earlier.
