LAS VEGAS, Nov. 6 -- Kia Motors America (KMA) today at its national dealer meeting in Las Vegas announced its new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program for Kia vehicles. The Kia CPO program launched today will roll out to Kia dealers through the end of the year and CPO sales will begin in the first quarter of 2008.

"A CPO program is an important part of our evolution into a tier-one automotive brand," said Len Hunt, executive vice president and COO of KMA. "It will help elevate us to the next level and raise the residual values of our vehicles."

KMA will partner with JM&A, one of the largest providers of finance and insurance (F&I) products in the automotive industry, which will provide training and education about the certification process and additional F&I products.

Kia vehicles up to five model years old with fewer than 60,000 miles are eligible for the CPO program. The program includes: an extended 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty; 150-point vehicle inspection; 10-year/unlimited mileage roadside assistance; vehicle history report; towing/rental car/travel coverage; and an available Kia Certified Wrap Service Contract, offering the consumer additional levels of coverage beyond powertrain coverage.

Kia Motors America -- the sales, marketing and distribution arm of Kia Motors Corporation in Seoul, South Korea -- offers a complete line of vehicles through more than 630 dealers throughout the United States.
