China's FAW Sold One Million Vehicles in The First Nine Months

First Automobile Works (FAW) sold 12,8377 vehicles in September, up 21.4 percent from a year earlier; meanwhile the company sold 1.05 million vehicles in the first nine months, according to Shanghai Securities News.

To break it down, FAW sold 827,000 sedans in the first nine months, up 25.4 percent and 115,000 light and heavy trucks, up 42.1 percent from one year earlier.

In September, FAW sold 103,000 sedans, up 26.4 percent and 12,000 light and heavy trucks, up 1.6 percent from one year earlier.

Powered by its popular Magoton model, FAW-VW sold most 34,535 sedans in first nine months, ranked the third among China's sedan makers.
