SANTA CLARA, Calif. & TAIPEI, Taiwan--Magellan®, the fastest-growing GPS brand in the world, and Zenitron Corporation (TSEC Stock Code: 3028), a leading distributor of semiconductor, electric component, and consumer electronics in China today announced a business partnership to bring Magellan auto navigation devices to the Chinese market.

Under the agreement, Zenitron will market and distribute Magellan GPS products, starting with the introduction of three new products, the Magellan Maestro 3200C, 8200C and 8250C. With this new line of premium and affordable auto navigation devices, Magellan is delivering its U.S. industry-leading quality, performance and service to the Chinese market.

In addition to developing Magellans presence in the retail channel in China, Zenitron will provide a variety of marketing services to support the distribution and retail sales of Magellan products, as well as service and support for Magellan customers. Magellan GPS devices can be found starting in October at IT malls in major cities throughout China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guanghzhou and Shengzen.

Were thrilled to expand our retail business through this partnership with Magellan. Its growing share in the exploding global GPS market, technology leadership, and brand equity provide a strategic value to Zenitrons consumer electronics business in China, said Honda Fan, President of Zenitron.

Having an experienced partner with a proven track record is critical to driving successful geographical expansion in a market as dynamic as GPS, particularly auto navigation, said Nelson Chan, Chief Executive Officer at Magellan. Zenitrons experience in consumer electronics and the retail channel in China, its dedicated sales force, broad presence throughout China and commitment to providing excellent customer satisfaction makes them the ideal partner to represent Magellan in China.
