Mercedes-Benz Financial Ranks Highest in Two Segments of Annual J.D. Power and Associates Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study

- Highest in Prime Retail Credit

- Highest in Floor Planning

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Aug. 27, 2007 -- Mercedes-Benz Financial captured the highest ranking in satisfaction among prime retail credit and floor planning in the just-released J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study(SM).

This is the second consecutive year that Mercedes-Benz Financial ranked highest in Dealer Satisfaction with Floor Planning, performing particularly well in each of the three floor plan satisfaction factors: finance provider offering; process and service; and floor plan support personnel.

"The J.D. Power and Associates Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study is an important tool for measuring our customer service progress and identifying opportunities for improvement," said Franz Reiner, Vice President, Mercedes- Benz Financial. "As a result of our dealer feedback, we continue to gain valuable insight into how our service should evolve in a market that grows increasingly competitive."

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz ranked second in Retail Leasing, improving in all four factors: Lease-end/Termination Policy; Application/Approval Process; Credit Personnel; and Finance Provider Offering. Concluding its strong showing in the study, Mercedes-Benz Financial also finished second in Account Management.

"These results will reinforce the commitment of all Mercedes-Benz Financial employees to deliver benchmark products and services that help strengthen relationships between Mercedes-Benz dealerships and their customers," Reiner said.
