BMW 325i Sports Version Launches This Month in China

SHANGHAI - August 10, 2007: Brilliance BMW, the joint venture between Brilliance China Automotive Holding Ltd. and BMW AG, will launch BMW325i (with the M sports package) later this month in China, the company announced early this week. BMW Motorsport GmbH is a research organization affiliated to BMW, which is dedicated to the research and development of racing cars. This research institution has successfully developed BMW M3, BMW M5 and BMW M6.

"This model will fill in the blank of premium sports car for BMW in China," said Dr. Daniel Kirchert, vice president of Brilliance BMW.

BMW 3, the compact sports car, which is renowned for its driving experience, has sold 508,498 units around the globe. BMW 3 have 6,802 units delivered in the first seven months in mainland China, an increase of 45% year on year.

The price of the new model will be unveiled at the mid of August, the company said.
