According to NADAguides.com, there are other things consumers can do – in addition to buying an economical car – that can significantly improve a vehicle’s overall fuel efficiency. NADAguides.com says to reduce your speed, drive at a consistent speed, avoid abrupt stops and starts, maintain adequate tire pressure, and lighten the load while driving.
