System Rated No. 1 in Wide-Ranging Passenger Survey Conducted by TLC

NEW YORK, July 9, 2007 -- TaxiTech, a leading provider of new technology for taxicabs, today announced that it has been selected by New York City's League of Mutual Taxi Owners (LOMTO) as the preferred vendor to LOMTO's 3,000 taxi owner-members.

TaxiTech's platform already earned the accolades of New Yorkers, 76% of whom rated the system "Excellent" in a recent survey by TLC -- by far the highest rating of any vendor in the program. The company's product, eTaxi, features not only an attractive 17 inch interactive passenger touch screen -- the largest on the market -- with entertainment and useful information for passengers, but also enables passengers to pay for fare by credit card.

"Through extensive third party market research conducted by the City, we have proven that it is possible not only to satisfy the City's rigorous testing requirements and LOMTO's members' preferences, but also to gain highly favorable 'Excellent' ratings from the riding public," said Ed Sloam, President of TaxiTech. "We are proud to achieve that goal."

"We chose TaxiTech because these guys have proven again and again that they will do the right thing for our members. Their product is the one that passengers like best. Our members care about their passengers, which makes TaxiTech's product, eTaxi, the right choice for them," said Vincent Sapone, Managing Director of LOMTO.

TaxiTech is the only industry vendor with a sales, installation and service facility in Manhattan. The company has invited LOMTO members to participate in a series of events including demonstrations, training programs and sign-up sessions.

"New York City marks the first of many locales around the globe that will implement our technology enhancements to vastly improve the taxi passenger experience," said Jae Choi, Chairman of TaxiTech.
