Maserati and Staglin Family Vineyard Combine to Raise a Benchmark Setting $1.1 Million Lot at Auction Napa Valley

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., June 12, 2007; Maserati North America partnered with The Staglin Family Vineyard and created a once in a lifetime Italian experience of excellence which topped all other lots at $1.1 million, adding significantly to the total of $9.8 million raised this year at Auction Napa Valley, hosted by the Napa Valley Vintners.

The lot was aptly titled Return to the Roots - The Best of Napa and Italy - with Stagliano Sangiovese, Maserati, White Truffles, Barolos, Valentino and More.

Four people will join Shari and Garen Staglin and Michael Greenlee, Vice President of Wines, Dean & Deluca, on a once-in-a-lifetime classic experience; tasting select wines and cuisine on a tour of the Northern Italian region while staying at extraordinary locations.

Maserati has called upon friends and opened its home in the historic Modenese region to insure that the experience is as authentic, timeless and exclusive as its cars.

  The Maserati contribution includes:

     Quattroporte sedans.
-- A tour of the Maserati factory, a landmark red brick structure which
encloses one of the most advanced auto production facilities for hand
     built cars.
-- A test of the 2008 Maserati GranTurismo two-door along the historic
routes Maserati uses to test its cars.
-- A visit to the Panini Museum home to the original factory collection of
Maserati race cars and one of the finest producers of Parmigiano -
     Reggiano organic cheese.
-- A visit to one of the 15 families which produce the only true balsamic
     vinegar in the world.
-- Ownership of a Maserati Quattroporte

According to Jim Selwa, President and CEO of Maserati North America; "Maserati provides its clients not only a very exclusive quality product with a timeless design but the opportunity in which to pursue ones passions. In the Staglins we have found partners who share our values and we thank them for allowing us to share the traditions of Maserati and Modena while supporting valuable causes in Napa Valley."

Shari and Garen Staglin, owners of Staglin Family Vineyard added ""We are amazed at the generosity of everyone who made this lot happen. The $1.1 million donated for this lot will make a major impact on our community. All of us in the Napa Valley thank Maserati for their wonderful contributions."
