Native American Business Alliance (NABA) Recognizes Chrysler Group Diversity Efforts

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 30, 2007 -- The Chrysler Group was recently recognized as "Corporation of the Year" by the Native American Business Alliance (NABA) during the trade association's annual conference in Galveston Island, Texas. The company was recognized for its mentorship and development of Native American business entities.

"We are proud to be a member of the Native American Business Alliance, and to be recognized as Corporation of the Year," said Jethro Joseph, Chrysler Group, Senior Manager -- Diversity Supplier Development. "This award illustrates how the Chrysler Group works to help the Native American business community take advantage of available opportunities."

Jackie Taylor, Program Manager -- Diversity Supplier Development and Joseph accepted the award.

The mission of NABA is to develop relationships with the business community, demonstrate Native American capabilities and to share the culture and traditions of Native Americans with others.

Chrysler Group's commitment to diversity has been recognized by leading organizations, including being named to DiversityInc Magazine's 2007 list of "Top 50 Companies for Diversity;" the company was also acknowledged by the magazine as one of the Top 10 Companies for Supplier Diversity.
