NEW YORK, April 4 -- Ford Motor Company redefines travel for the modern American Family with the 2009 Ford Flex, unveiled at the New York Auto Show this week. Flex is a full-size crossover with cutting-edge technology, segment-exclusive features and distinctive design. Flex gives customers the family-vehicle alternative they've long wanted but couldn't find in showrooms.

Flex features a bold exterior and a striking interior. This seven- passenger crossover includes a class-exclusive refrigerator, capless fuel system and available Multi-Panel Vista Roof(TM). The interior provides a level of craftsmanship inspired by fashion and furniture design.

Flex is crammed with leading-edge technology. Ford Sync(TM) is Ford's industry-exclusive, voice-activated, hands-free in-car communications system. Flex's next-generation navigation system features voice recognition technology, a 23,000-song personal jukebox and programmable personal lighting in your choice of seven colors.

Flex also comes equipped with safety features that reflect our focus on the family, including AdvanceTrac(R) with RSC(TM) (Roll Stability Control) and Ford's exclusive Safety Canopy(R) with side curtain air bags.

The 2009 Ford Flex will provide a leap forward for the sizzling crossover market when it arrives in dealer showrooms in the summer of 2008.
