LONDON - March 10, 2007: Sales of BMW's new 3 Series Convertible are surging ahead, making it the must have open-top car for the summer. Despite the car officially going on sale on 24 March, 2007, BMW dealers have a forward order bank from retail and corporate customers for more than 2,000 cars – nearly half of the UK's total allocation. The 3 Series Convertible is initially only offered in 325i and 335i six-cylinder petrol guises, with current sales demand on these split 50:50. However, a four-cylinder 320i Convertible will also soon be available to order alongside six-cylinder 330i and 330d Convertible models.

Prices for the range start at £30,630 OTR for a 320i SE Convertible rising to £40,250 OTR for a 335i M Sport Convertible ($59,164 and $77,746; respective equivilents).
