About Ferrari Challenge

Privateers have always played an important part in Ferrari's racing activity, dating back to the earliest days of the marque. It was with this in mind that the North American Ferrari Challenge was created in 1994, to get single-marque owners racing on the tracks.

The Ferrari Challenge is in its 13th season, which makes it the longest-running series of its type in North America. All preparation on today's Challenge racers is handled only by authorized Ferrari dealers. Modifications are tightly restricted and all cars race on identical BBS racing wheels and Pirelli racing slicks. Engines are strictly stock, and are sealed to eliminate the subtle little tricks so beloved by serious racers. The emphasis is on driver ability, appropriate in a series of this type, and the rules have produced exciting and close racing.

F430 Challenge

With the F430 Challenge Ferrari specifically designed the car to meet the expectations of its sportier clients. The F430 Challenge retains the same general look and the 490 bhp engine as the road-going version. However, it also incorporates a large number of significant track-oriented modifications and a host of new features not previously seen in Challenge cars. The F430 Challenge was created to allow Ferrari customers a chance to enjoy their cars in a structured competitive environment, racing against other Ferrari owners on the most challenging race tracks in North America. Created as a gentlemen's racing series, the emphasis in the series is on fair competition among Ferrari owners with support from dealer teams. The series' goal is to provide a venue for amateur Ferrari drivers who are looking to race the finest and most technologically advanced racing machinery available while perfecting their racecraft in a friendly and collegial atmosphere.

The appeal of the Ferrari Challenge is obvious. Owners can enjoy competition with their Ferrari cars on the race track, and enjoy camaraderie in a social environment with other Ferrari owners away from the track. Spectators can enjoy the experience of seeing enthusiastic drivers in fierce competition with streetable Ferrari racing cars. For the people who participate and for those who watch, the Ferrari Challenge provides a perfect way to enjoy a unique and challenging interest.
