Las Vegas, NV-January 26, 2007 - The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) announces the concurrent sessions that will be offered as part of the Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Conference and Expo. The conference will be held in Anaheim, California, April 1-4. Formerly known as the "Clean Cities Conference," this fuel and technology neutral gathering is designed to bring one-stop information and product shopping to fleets, policy-makers, and advocates for clean transportation choices.
AFVi concurrent sessions complement the General Session proceedings, which features keynote presentations by former CIA Chief James Woolsey; Terry Tamminen, longtime government leader and author of the new book Lives Per Gallon; and Director of Automotive Emerging Technologies for JD Powers, Mike Marshall. A new Expo Hall addition is a "Technology Showcase" stage. More than thirty speakers will showcase the work they've done representing a wide range of the latest innovations in alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies. The AFV Conference & Expo also features more than 100 exhibitors from all corners of the globe, as well as a Ride-n-Drive featuring light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles. The 2007 Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Conference concurrent session lineup is organized around the categories of fleets, funding, fuels, policy, and vehicles & technology.
