Yazaki North America, Inc. Honored by General Motors at North American International Auto Show

CANTON, Mich., Jan. 12 -- Yazaki North America, Inc. (Yazaki), a leading supplier of vehicle power and data solutions to the automotive industry, was honored by General Motors Corporation (GM) for overall excellence in supporting GM's product efforts during ceremonies Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Recognized for their significant contribution in 2006 related to Vehicle Information Displays, and Power and Signal Distribution Systems, Yazaki demonstrated willingness and dedication in providing GM with best in class products. The company provided flawless launches on GM's new Full Size Truck and SUV programs and maintained zero plant disruptions.

This is the sixth year GM has honored suppliers at the North American International Auto Show. The supplier awards recognize a suppliers' performance in quality, cost and delivery, as well as contributions to production and concept vehicles GM unveils at the NAIAS.
