Detroit Auto Show Round-Up: New Fuels, New Plans and an Unclear Future

Washington DC January 8, 2007; The AIADA newsletter reported that several automakers this week including Toyota, Mercedes, Audi, Honda and others are showcasing their latest alternative fuel technologies from hybrids to flex-fuel (E85), clean diesel and even electricity at the Detroit Auto Show.

One thing is apparent, consumers are increasingly asking for more fuel efficient models and automakers are delivering. But what technology will prevail?
