Press Pass Coverage of Alt Car Expo

The Largest Alternative Fuels & Technologies Exposition

Produced and Edited by Marc J. Rauch, Exec. VP/Co-Publisher

On the weekend of December 9th and 10th, the City of Santa Monica, California hosted the first-ever ALTERNATIVE CAR AND TRANSPORTATION EXPO, a timely and engrossingly informative event.

The expo was divided into three distinct arenas within Santa Monica Airport’s Barker Hanger facility:

  • Speaker/Seminar Sessions
  • Exhibit Area
  • Outdoor Test Drive & New Car Lot

Although the overall venue was small by today's modern convention-center standards, it was packed with an enthusiastic crowd of attendees, comprised of consumers, students, activists, and government/industry representatives.

Each of the three arenas provided great experiences, but the highlight of the weekend were the Speaker Sessions. These sessions ranged from comprehensive reviews of the alternative fuels and technologies that are available today, or in the near future, to spirited and controversial lectures from Edwin Black, Terry Tamminen and James Woolsey.

The Auto Channel is pleased and proud to have been in attendance at this important event and to bring you complete PRESS PASS video coverage of many of the Speaker Sessions, along with video interviews with several exhibitors. We're sure you'll find each of these fascinating and thought provoking.
