Consumer Research Solutions, Inc. Launches Motorcycle VIN Data Product

WESTMINSTER, Mass., November 14, 2006 -- Consumer Research Solutions, Inc. (CRS), a leading powersports data provider, today announced the release of VIN Fact, a vehicle identification number decoder, for customers requiring thorough motorcycle model descriptions.

VIN Fact relates vehicle identification sequences to specific model information on motorcycles made between 2004 and the current model year. Users simply enter a VIN and receive instant VIN validation and product information, including model identifiers, engine size, transmission type, and market segment. All data is formatted across manufacturers for easy inclusion into any internal processes.

VIN Fact is a must-have for insurance agencies, auction groups and any organization that relies on accurate VIN lookups and product information for motorcycles in their day-to-day operations,” said CRS President Steve Caisse. “Until now, this required using two separate products and sources. CRS provides it in one, easy-to-use tool.”

CRS matches the VIN to the company’s “unique trim ID,” giving customers online access to over 100 data points as well as motorcycle vehicle identification numbers. The data points include specifications, standard features and optional equipment with pricing, and build logic. The combination of VINs and “unique trim IDs” allows VIN Fact to be integrated with other CRS tools, such as search-by-feature, model configuration, and side-by-side multiple comparisons, for a full suite of tools.

VIN Fact carries the same timeliness and accuracy guarantee of all CRS powersports data products.
