Volvo Presents Its Integrated Safety Truck at the 13th ITS World Congress - VIDEO ENHANCED STORY

LONDON - November 2, 2006: The Volvo Integrated Safety Truck, the safest truck on Earth according to Volvo, was presented at the 13th World Congress of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in London. With 160 million Euros spent on research, the truck has been equipped with state of the art sensors and monitoring technologies to better avoid accidents and save lives. Each year, more than 40,000 people are killed in an automobile accident in both Europe and the U.S.
