Hitachi High Technologies America Announces 5th Annual Three-City Nanotechnology Seminar Series

PLEASANTON, Calif.--Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc., Nanotechnology Group, will host its complimentary fifth annual nanotechnology seminars taking place in three U.S. cities during the week of October 30 November 3, 2006.

The first day long seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Madren Conference Center at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. The series will be repeated in Burr Ridge, Illinois on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 and at NASA-Ames in Moffett Field, California on Friday, November 3, 2006. A tour of the Advanced Materials Research Lab (AMRL) facilities will also be available at Clemson University for attendees.

All of the seminars are complimentary and will feature presentations by renowned microscopy experts and scientists. Researchers and application engineers from Hitachi High-Technologies in Japan will discuss recent developments in nanotechnology and semiconductor processing trends. Participants at the Clemson University seminar will learn about nanotechnology applications for the automotive industry. The Burr Ridge, Illinois session will focus on materials science. The latest trends in information and biotechnology will be presented at the NASA-Ames, California seminar.
