Washington DC September 27, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that in its relentless effort to meet the wants and needs of American consumers, Toyota has developed a new Lexus LS 460 Sedan which allows the car to park itself, with the driver playing a mere supporting role.

The LS 460, equipped with an industry-first eight-speed automatic transmission, a state-of-the-art aluminum V-8 engine that cranks out 380 horsepower, and an expected 19 mpg city/27 mpg highway, "represents... most of the reasons why Toyota is widely expected to become the world's No. 1 automaker sometime within the next two years," according to The Wall Street Journal.

Toyota, on its "technical tour de force," expects to sell 400,000 Lexus cars worldwide this year, and aims to close in on 500,000 next year. To view a demo of how the LS 460 can park itself, click here.
