Popular AAIA Technology Update Returns to AAPEX

BETHESDA, MD - Sept. 21, 2006 - Babcox publisher Jon Owens and AAIA's Scott Luckett will team up to present the popular Technology Update produced by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) at AAPEX. The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in room 202 of the Sands Expo Center on Monday, Oct. 30.

A "state of the standards" report will be made by Luckett, vice president of technology standards and solutions, including recent enhancements and a preview of the evolving suite of aftermarket technology standards and supply chain solutions.

Following the briefing will be a presentation by Owens, publisher of Counterman and Aftermarketnews.com. Owens will share his candid observations on e-business and technology in the aftermarket and discuss the steps needed to capitalize on the opportunity to reduce costs throughout the supply chain.
