TAMPA, Fla.--Aug. 29, 2006--US Energy Initiatives Corporation ("US Energy" or the "Company") (OTCBB:USEI) today announced final delivery in Thailand of the Company's dual-fuel conversion system for use in the General Motors Thailand (GMTH) Colorado Pickup. US Energy is an ISO-9001 certified manufacturer of a patent dual-fuel diesel to natural gas conversion technology.

For 2007 models, GMTH intends to offer Thai consumers a dual-fuel, natural gas/diesel option for their Chevy Colorado pickups. The program is scheduled for launch during the Thailand Motor Expo in December, following an introductory presentation at the Asia Automotive trade fair held November 9-12 in Bangkok, Thailand, and at the APEC CEO Summit in Vietnam.

According to US Energy's Weekly Fuel Price Report for the week ending August 19th, the Thai consumer currently pays an estimated 104.104 Thai Baht ($2.79 US) per gallon of diesel while a dual fuel gallon consisting of approximately 65% natural gas/35% diesel, would cost an estimated 57.39 Thai Baht ($1.53 US). US Energy's Weekly Fuel Price Report can be viewed in its entirety at http://www.usenergyic.com. "We are very excited to be supporting GMTH in their desire to bring the low cost of natural gas to the Thai diesel marketplace," said US Energy CEO Mark Clancy. "We believe our technology offers the Thai consumer an option in the purchase of the GMTH Colorado to enjoy the low cost of natural gas without sacrificing any of the power that makes the diesel engine so popular," concluded Mr. Clancy.

William Botwick, President of GM's Southeast Asia Operations and President of General Motors Thailand, said: "GM has been working closely with the Thai government on a number of alternative fuel initiatives, including CNG conversion technology, so we're proud to be leading the Thai market in equipping our vehicles with CNG conversion capabilities. With the sustained high prices of fuel, this option will make our one-ton Chevrolet Colorado pickup even more popular with Thai consumers, by offering a certified safe and economical fuel conversion system."
