Richard E. Colliver Joins the Board of Directors of Monaco Coach Corporation

COBURG, Ore., Aug. 28, 2006 -- Monaco Coach Corporation announced that Richard E. Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., who heads up the Honda and Acura Automobile divisions, was appointed to Monaco Coach's Board of Directors.

"With his many years of executive experience in the automotive industry, Dick will be a tremendous asset for Monaco Coach," said Kay Toolson, Monaco's Chairman and CEO. "He will be a valuable addition to our Board, and brings a wealth of distribution and marketing insights to our team."

Under Mr. Colliver's leadership, the Honda Division has reported record-setting sales, and Honda dealers are among the most profitable in the automotive industry. Mr. Colliver joined Honda in 1993 as senior vice president of the Honda Automobile Division, and in 1997 was promoted to executive vice president and appointed to the American Honda Board of Directors. In 1998, he assumed responsibilities for the Acura Division.

Prior to joining Honda, Mr. Colliver enjoyed a career of more than 20 years with Mazda Motors of America, where he was group vice president and general manager. He has a B.S. degree in business administration from Pittsburg State University in Kansas, and completed the Wharton School Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Colliver's election brings the number of Board members to nine, of which eight are non-management. He will also serve on the Compensation and Governance committees.
