LONDON - July 18, 2006: One of the highlights at GM’s stand at the British International Motor Show is the world premiere of the new Opel/Vauxhall Corsa. Following the same philosophy successfully realized with the Astra and Astra GTC, the distinctively different three and five-door Corsa models are tailor-made for different types of customers.

New high-tech features include curve and cornering light, a heated steering wheel – and a host of clever innovations such as the integrated carrier system “Flex-Fix”, which makes its premiere in a production car. There is a choice of three gasoline engines and two common-rail turbo-diesel engines with four-valve technology and displacements of between 1.0 and 1.4 liters, covering an output range of 60 to 90 hp. The Corsa can be ordered now and will available at dealerships as of October 2006.
