Toyota Reports June 2006 Sales With Strong Second-Quarter and First-Half Performance

TORRANCE, Calif., July 3 -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported its best-ever first-half sales in 49 years of business in the U.S. with calendar-year-to-date (CYTD) sales of 1,223,542. June sales of 223,018, an increase of 14.4 percent over last June, contributed to a record-setting second quarter, with sales of 678,691 units.
