Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum News Release - Museum awarded $20,000 grant

AUBURN June 7, 2006; The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum was awarded a $20,000 grant from
the Collectors Foundation to support the museum's customized educational
programs. The grant will be paid in 4 annual installments of $5,000. In
2005 over 5,000 students visited the museum and the educational department
was responsible for providing educational customized programs for over 1,700
students.

The letter received with the award states, "The Board of Directors is
impressed with the diverse audiences the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum can
attract and should utilize the grant as a challenge to other constituencies
to support the museum's educational programming".

The museum must meet this challenge of $5,000 per year for the next 4 years
in order to retain the grant. To support the museum with this challenge or
to receive additional information, please call 260-925-1444 or email the
museum's executive director, Laura Brinkman at laurab@acdmuseum.org.
