Axial Vector(TM) Engine Corporation Presents Its First Commercial Product Operating Status

PORTLAND, Ore., May 24, 2006 -- Axial Vector(TM) Engine Corporation has posted on its website a new PowerPoint presentation detailing the Program Status of its new 200 kW Axial Vector(TM) E-Flux GENSET. This presentation is viewable at www.axialvectorengine.com.

Powered by a revolutionarily efficient, fuel saving high torque engine design, AVEC's patent pending 352 HP engine with 1,126 foot-pounds of torque turning over at a top load rate of 1100 RPM is only 37 inches long by 17.4 inches wide and deep. At each end of the engine drive shaft, there is a 100 kW generator, which is amongst the world's few "iron coreless" generator designs. The GENSET is integrated with a unique FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) that intelligently harnesses and commands all systems thus allowing to economically and continuously produce 200 kW output with a peak load of 240 kW at amongst the lowest known fuel consumption per kWh.

Designed and component tested by some of the world's best engineers and most sophisticated software programs, including UGS, our GENSET has been engineered for 40,000 hours of continuous operation before overhaul. This represents a potentially significant performance and longevity improvement over most, if not all, Internal Combustion Engine powered and commercially available GENSETs. Testing to determine the "mean time to failure" and major "overhauls" will commence in June 2006.
