VW, Google Developing Navigation System

Washington DC March 14, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that Volkswagen and internet company Google are jointly developing a navigation system, according to German newspaper Die Welt. The system, based on the Google Earth program, is expected to allow three dimensional depictions of routes and also also draw from online sources for real-time traffic and weather information to aid drivers.
