America's Car-Mart, Inc. Announces New Dealership

BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 14 -- America's Car-Mart, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Dan's Auto Sales, Inc., the premier "Buy Here/Pay Here" used car dealer in Lexington, Kentucky. The dealership will operate under the name "Car-Mart". Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"Although we usually start our new dealerships from the ground up, Lexington's strong market represented a rare challenge and opportunity for us," stated T. J. ("Skip") Falgout, III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of America's Car-Mart, Inc. "By purchasing Dan's Auto Sales, we are not only able to acquire a superb location in Lexington on the much-desired New Circle Road, but we are also gaining access to the strong customer base that Dan's has built up by offering quality vehicles and great customer service. We look forward to taking good care of Dan's customers and expanding Car-Mart's presence in Lexington and the surrounding areas."

Including this dealership in Lexington, Car-Mart has added nine new dealerships in FY 2006. The total number of Car-Mart dealerships is now 85.
