The two Apprentice teams were tasked with creating a 3-hour training session for a group of Chevrolet marketing executives and 25 Chevy dealers. Chevrolet General Director of Advertising & Promotions Kim Kosak and Chevrolet Vehicle Line Executive Gary White met with the teams to brief them on the tasks.

“The Apprentice is at the forefront of incorporating compelling product integrations into a dynamic primetime program,” said Kim Kosak, Chevrolet general director of advertising and promotions. “The broadcast integration provided Chevrolet with an opportunity to connect with consumers in a fun, engaging way while communicating the product benefits of the all new Chevy Tahoe.”

The site goes live on Monday, March 13, in conjunction with the Apprentice episode and will run for four weeks.

The online promotion allows consumers to build their own thirty-second commercial for the Chevy Tahoe using an assortment of existing video clips that consumers can cus tom ize using music selections and their own advertising copy to convey the Tahoe’s product benefits. Chevrolet will evaluate submissions based on how well they communicate the Tahoe’s brand promise that it is “more capable, more responsible and more refined.” The winner will receive access for two from a selection of events in three categories:

“More Music” – Tickets to the CMA Country Music Awards or another red carpet music event “More Sports” – MLB All-Star Game or Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at the Richmond International Raceway “More Leisure” – Summer or Winter getaway to Jackson Hole , WY The Tahoe’s Apprentice challenge is the latest in a number of integration partnerships between Chevrolet and NBC. Chevrolet vehicles have also been incorporated into the storyline of recent episodes of NBC’s popular drama “ Las Vegas.” The January 9 episode marked the broadcast debut of the Chevy/NBC Olympic Mini-Movie, which was seamlessly integrated into the episode and included appearances by Team USA Olympic hopefuls and the cast of the mini-movie. And Team Chevy NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson appeared on the February 6 episode as a guest judge of a Chevy cus tom car show that took place at the fictional Montecito Casino.
