McNabb Appointed Marketing VP at Mercedes-Benz USA

MONTVALE, N.J – Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today announced the appointment of Mark McNabb to the position of vice president, marketing effective February 27th, 2006.

In his new position McNabb (44) will have overall responsibility for the marketing and product management of the Mercedes-Benz and Maybach brands in the USA. As a member of the executive management team, McNabb will report to Paul Halata, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA.

McNabb joins MBUSA from Nissan North America where he was vice president and general manager Nissan Division. Prior to that Mark was vice president and general manager Infiniti Division. With over 20 years of automotive experience, Mark has held positions of increasing responsibility across various areas of the business including marketing, sales and operations.

Commenting on the appointment, Halata said, “I am delighted to welcome Mark to our executive management team. He brings with him a rich experience and knowledge that will further reinforce our premier position in the luxury car market. I am confident that Mark brings with him the leadership, experience and determination to help in our quest to be the best car company in America”

McNabb and his family will be relocating from the west coast and he will be based at the company’s Montvale, N.J headquarters.
