In first professional race Hillary Will now No. 2
After two of four qualifying passes

POMONA, Calif. (February 10, 2006) - After qualifying No. 5 yesterday,
Hillary Will, the driver of the KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta
Motorsports-managed dragster, showed that her first-ever run in
competition, a 4.61-second pass, was for real.

Today's run moved the Northern California native into No. 2 on the
provisional qualifying grid for the NHRA CARQUEST Auto Parts
Winternationals. Will, from Fortuna, Calif., who now resides in
Ypsilanti, Mich., covered the quarter mile at the Auto Club Raceway of
Pomona track in 4.518 seconds at 323.19 mph during Friday's single
qualifying session.

But the rookie driver was realistic when she said, "I expected this from
this team. It's a championship caliber team, so I have to be a
championship-caliber driver. But let's not get carried away, it's only
Friday and we still have two qualifying sessions left."

For Will, 25, qualifying for the NHRA CARQUEST Auto Parts
Winternationals will come to an end with two additional sessions on
Saturday scheduled at 12 noon and 3 p.m. Will begins her quest for the
Winternationals' Top Fuel title on Sunday with eliminations for all
classes beginning at 11 a.m. All times are local Pomona time (PST) and
subject to change at anytime.

Qualifying highlights for the 46th annual NHRA CARQUEST Auto Parts
Winternationals can be seen on ESPN2 on Saturday (Feb. 11) from 10 p.m.
until 12 midnight. ESPN2 will also air same-day television coverage of
eliminations from 7:30 until 10:30 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 12). The
elimination show repeats early Tuesday morning (Feb. 14) from 3-5 a.m.
Television times are Eastern Time (ET) and subject to change at
anytime. Check local listings.
