Everyone Wants a Piece of Kenny Wallace in 2006

MOORESVILLE, NC (February 2, 2006) – The lives of NASCAR’s top drivers are
all hectic and packed with sponsor commitments, team obligations, family
lives and on top of it all they travel to a different city every weekend, but
you would be hard pressed to find a busier driver than Kenny Wallace.
If you ask Wallace his primary job is driver of the #22 AutoZone Ford for
ppc Racing in the NASCAR Busch Series, but that is only the beginning. To the
people that really know Kenny Wallace he is known as a one-man show who is
many things to many people, including a devoted husband and father, racecar
driver, sponsor representative, TV commentator, motivational speaker, and
full-time funny man.
In 2006, Kenny Wallace is once again ready to take on the challenge of his
primary job behind the wheel of the #22 AutoZone Ford as he battles 42 of
NASCAR’s toughest drivers each weekend at tracks across the country in pursuit of
victory and the NASCAR Busch Series Championship. When Wallace climbs out of
the AutoZone Ford at the end of each Busch Series race his job is far from
over.
Wallace, a driver that is well respected by owners, drivers and sponsors
throughout the garage area, is often sought after to provide his driving
services. This season, Wallace will be lending his driving talent and experience to
Furniture Row Racing on Sunday’s by competing for them in the NASCAR Nextel
Cup Series.
Over the years, Kenny Wallace has built a reputation as one of NASCAR’s most
colorful and well known personalities, which has created opportunities for
him to expand his career into the television arena. This year, Wallace is back
in front of the camera as co-host of SPEED Channel’s most popular show “
NASCAR RaceDay??, formerly known as “NASCAR This Morning??. Following Nextel Cup
races, Wallace will be in back in “NASCAR Victory Lane?? to wrap up the
events of the weekend with his co-hosts, John Roberts and Jimmy Spencer. Wallace,
who is featured along with his wife Kim and daughters Brooke, Brandy, and
Brittany, has become one of the most popular drivers on NASCAR Drivers 360.
St. Louis native Kenny Wallace has also signed on to co-host his own weekly
talk show on KMOX-AM radio. The Kenny Wallace radio show will air LIVE Friday
’s at 8:00pm eastern time on KMOX’s frequency which reaches 44 states
across the country.
The main thing that drives Kenny Wallace to fulfill all of his commitments
is the thought of being able to spend the rest of his time with his family.
Kenny, Kim, and the “Queen B’s?? can be found enjoying downtime at their home
in St. Louis or cheering on their beloved St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium
when they need a break from racing. Keeping Kenny away from the track is
much more difficult; he can be found at dirt tracks across the mid-west running
his St. Louis Cardinals dirt car. This season he already has 25 races on his
schedule.
If all of those plans weren’t enough, you can bet that Kenny can be found
fulfilling media, sponsor, team, TV, and family commitments on a weekly basis.
In real life, Kenny Wallace deals with everyday things just like we do, he
just does it while going through life at 180 mph.
